November 15, 2006 Public Meeting

General Information

The project’s second public meeting was held Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Approximately 155 people attended the East Columbia EIS open-house public meeting from 4 to 7 P.M. at the New Elk's Lodge, 4747 East Elk Park Dr., Columbia, Mo.

At this meeting, nine potential alternatives were presented that include options such as widening roads, improving intersections or interchanges, and creating new roadways.
