PROJECT STATUS August 20, 2003 · The PD&E phase of the project is nearly complete. The following are the completion dates or expected completion dates of several major PD&E milestones: - PD&E Public Workshop October 15, 2002 - PD&E Public Hearing May 13, 2003 - Categorical Exclusion Approval by FHWA August 12, 2003 - PD&E plans reviewed by FDOT June, 2003 - FDOT approval of the typical section Expected by August 28, 2003 - Complete final responses to public comments Expected by September 12, 2003 - Alt. Selection notification letter to agencies Expected by August 25, 2003 - Final signed and sealed PD&E plan submittal Expected by September 30, 2003 - Location, Design and Concept Acceptance by FHWA Expected by September 30, 2003
· The Preliminary design and Design/Build criteria package development phase is just beginning. The following are key dates for this phase of work: - Design kickoff July 7, 2003 - Typical section package complete by September 30, 2003 - Pavement design package complete by November 15, 2003 - Complete field survey and geotechnical work by December 16, 2003 - Submit initial preliminary plans to FDOT January 30, 2004 - Submit completed preliminary plans to FDOT March 26, 2004 - Hold design phase public meeting March 29, 2004 - Submit right-of-way requirements to FDOT May 31, 2004 - Complete final design/build RFP and design criteria pkg. September 17, 2004
· Right-of-way maps complete January 24, 2005 · Right-of-way certified January 8, 2007 · Design/Build team contract signed February 1, 2007
