Cedar River Pipeline 1895-1901On November 11, 1911, a flood in the Cedar River Valley washed away part of the pipeline that supplies most of Seattle's water. It took days to repair and emergency water supplies were set up within the city. After the pipeline was repaired, steps were taken to prevent a similar disaster in the future.
