Construction

On July 22, the Colorado Springs Utilities Board gave its approval to move forward with the Preferred Alternative for SDS – a pipeline from Pueblo Reservoir – with a schedule to have the project delivering water by 2016.

Project staff will be hosting contractor and vendor open houses, as early as the first quarter of 2010, to provide more information about the construction schedule and procurement process.
