Alternative 7:   Highway 115 Alternative

This alternative is similar to the No Action Alternative, but allows Colorado Springs and the other project participants to store untreated water in Pueblo Reservoir. Unlike the No Action Alternative, the Highway 115 Alternative does not include any ground water component, and Fountain and Security would participate in the SDS. For this alternative, water would be exchanged upstream from Pueblo Reservoir and then diverted from the Arkansas River at the Lester & Attebery ditch near Florence. Pueblo West would not participate in SDS if this alternative was chosen.
